Sharon J. Barry, 57, of East 11th Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after an illness at 2:40 p.m. on Monday, March 27, in her home.

Sharon was born on Dec. 16, 1942, in Cheboygan, Mich., to Edmund and Dorothy (McKay) Merchant, who both have preceded her in death. She was an area resident for six years, coming from Niles, Mich. She worked as a business manager in the retail industry.

She is survived by two daughters, Annette Barry of Houston, Texas, and Michelle Barry of Indianapolis, Ind.; a niece and nephew, Dawn and Richard Negri of Mishawaka, Ind.; five great- nieces and nephews; a sister, Janet Smith of Dowagiac, Mich.; and by a brother, Gerald Percy of Mishawaka.
