Mrs. Christena Barron
Mrs. Christena Barron, age 74, of
2308 Kerslake Court, south Bend, died in her residence this morning at 8:30
o'clock after an illness of four years with complications. She was born in
William County, Ohio. April 18, 1854, and has been a life long resident of this
community. As Christena Myser she married James Barron in 1879 and he died in
1914. Surviving her are a son and two daughters, Homer M. Barron, clerk of the
Mishawaka police department Mrs. John Leslie of Mishawaka, and Grace Barron at
home. A sister Mrs. L. Black, of South Bend, and one grandchild also surviving.
Funeral service will be held from the residence Tuesday afternoon at 2:30
o'clock with Rev. M. E. Hawkins D.D. pastor of the First Baptist church
officiating. Burial will take place in the city cemetery she was a member of
the Woodman circle of Mishawaka.

All member of the Woodman circle who plan to attend the
funeral of Mrs. Christena Barron, 2308 Kerslake Court, South Bend, Tuesday
afternoon are requested to meet in the Knights of Pythias Hall at 1:30 p.m.
Tuesday.

Kerslake court, South Bend, were held from the residence this afternoon at 2:30
o'clock with Rev. M. E. Hawkins D. D. pastor of the First Baptist church
