Carol Finn Barrett

August 23, 1951 – October 9, 1985

Carol Finn Barrett, 34, of 734 S. 30^th St., died at 2pm Wednesday in St Joseph’s Medical Center.  After an illness Mrs. Barrett retired form Indiana Bell Telephone Co., where she had been a service representative.

She was born August 23, 1951, in Niles.  She lived all her life in South Bend.  On August 7, 1981, in South Bend, she married John L. Barrett.  He survives along with her parents, Robert and Martha Finn of South Bend; a sister, Cindy Thrasher of Los Angeles; two brothers, Michael Finn of Niles and Robert Finn of South Bend; and her paternal grandmother, Ruth Finn of Niles.

Services will be at 10am Saturday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday in the funeral home.  She was a member of the River Park United Methodist Church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church or American Diabetes Association Juvenile Division.
