MISHAWAKA - Alicia Barone, 75, of Lincoln Way East, died at 6:50 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Barone was employed by Berg's Jewelry Store, South Bend. She was born April 28, 1919, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. Surviving are three daughters, Toni Wolff and Laura Barone, both of Mishawaka, and Carol Sullivan of New York; a son, Victor of Mishawaka; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gladys Ganser of Mishawaka and Winnie Van Paemel of Osceola; and two brothers, Marion Rejer and Gene Rejer, both of South Bend. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 3:30 p.m.
