Carol J. Barnhart

MISHAWAKA - Carol J. Barnhart, 58, of South Elder Street, died at 6:47 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Community Hospital of natural causes. Mrs. Barnhart was born March 3, 1938, in Elkhart. On June 12, 1956, in South Bend, as Carol J. Fish, she married Gerald L. ''Gary'' Barnhart. He survives with three daughters, Cristina M. Dillion and Jodi L. Marshall, both of Las Vegas, and Deborah K. Williams of Elkhart; three sons, Gregory A., Michael L. and Robert E., all of Mishawaka; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; her mother, Zelda (McGary) Kohler of South Bend; two sisters, Marjorie Jaiszewski and Linda VanTornhout, both of South Bend; and a brother, Robert Kohler of Mishawaka. She was a member of Second Wind Group of Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

There will be no services or visitation. Hickey Funeral Home, South Bend, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Second Wind Group of Memorial Hospital of South Bend.
