Mrs. Lee W. Barber

Mrs. Marian Belle Barber, 88, who lived at the Oliver Hotel, died at 5:30 p.m. Friday after an illness of several days. She was born June 24, 1877 in Beaver Dam, Wis. She had lived in South Bend for eight years, coming from Fond du Lac, Wis. She was married in Beaver Dam to Lee W. Barber, who died in 1929. Surviving are four nephews; Franklin D. Barber of Flossmore, Ill.; B. Newton Barber of , Ariz.; Lyman Barber of Seattle, Wash; John C. Barber of Philadelphia, Pa., a niece Mrs. George Braddock of Chicago, and a first cousin Mrs. Daisey Gish of South Bend. Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home.

- Funeral service for Mrs. Lee W. Barber, 88, of the Pick-Oliver Hotel, who died July 16, were held at 2:30 p.m. today in the church of the Redeemer, Chicago. Rev. Warner C. White, pastor, officiated and cremation was at the Oak Woods Crematory, Chicago. The Welsheimer Funeral Home handled local arrangements.
