Martin Luther Barbee, 31, of 320 S. Main Street, died early trhis morning in St. Joseph Hospital. He had been ill two weeks. He was born Sept. 1, 1906 in Fordsville, Ky and came here 15 years ago. From Kentucky. He married May 29, 1936 in LaPorte Albertha Ullery who survives . Also surviving is his father Elijah D. Barbee, this city; two children from a former marriage, Betty June and Robert Barbee; and two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence F. LeBlanc, this city, and Mrs. Nelia Fuqua of Fordsville.

The body may be viewed in the Bubb Chapel until the service there at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. Rev. G. B. Rowe, pastor of Midway Gospel Church Tabernacle will officiate. The body will be taken to Fordsville for burial.
