Laverne Bango

Laverne Bango, 83, of South Bend, passed away on Saturday morning, April 15th, in the St. Joseph Care Center West. Laverne was born on February 2, 1923, in Otis, Indiana to the late, John and Victoria Marciniak.

On November 3, 1945, in South Bend she married Gabriel M. Bango, he preceded her in death in 1975. Laverne is survived by her step-son, Joseph M. Bango, of Brooklyn, New York, along with six grandchildren. Laverne is also survived by two sisters, Jean Tomanko, and Jane Johnson, both of Michigan City, Indiana.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18th, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St. Funeral services for Laverne will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral chapel.
