Biagio Baldoni

Mishawaka - Biagio Baldoni, 85, of 1302 S. Spring, died at 3 p.m. Thursday in his home after a lengthy illness.

Baldoni was born on June 13, 1889, in Macerone, Italy. He had lived here 62 years, coming from Italy.

In 1913, in Italy, he married Pia Farabegoli, who died in 1928.

Surviving are two sons, Libero, the Mishawaka Postmaster, and Louis, both of Mishawaka; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Zahorian Funeral Home, South Bend. Rev. Stephen Cvaniga, pastor of St. Bavo’s Catholic Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call until 9 p.m. today and 8 a.m. until services Saturday in the funeral
