Tony L. Baldini Jr.

June 20, 1947 - Oct. 17, 2001

Tony Lee Baldini Jr., 54, of Brightwood Lane, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, in Hospice House of St. Joseph County, South Bend.

Tony was born June 20, 1947, in South Bend, as the son of Tony and Elizabeth (Barany) Baldini Sr. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Tony Sr. on July 8, 1991, and by his mother, Elizabeth on Feb. 5, 1998.

Tony is survived by his aunt, Flora Nemeth Vernasco of Mishawaka, Ind.; and by four cousins, Buffy Nemeth of Elkhart, Ind., Kimberlee Griggs of Wakarusa, Ind., Dr. Andy Lee Nemeth of South Bend and Patricia Chapman of South Bend.

Tony worked at the University Notre Dame Power Plant for 20 years before retiring. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. He was also a member of St. Matthew's Cathedral, South Bend, and was an avid golfer.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Oct. 18, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, in the Hahn Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Heintz of St. Matthew's Cathedral, South Bend, will be officiating. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
