Mrs. Anna Balcerzak

June 15, 1893 – April 18, 1980

Mrs Anna Balcerzak, 87, of 501 S. Meade, died Friday in the Carlyle Nursing Home.  Arrangements are being made by the St Joseph Funeral Home.

BALCERZAK – Services for Mrs. Anna J. Balcerzak, 86, of 501 S Meade, who died at 10pm Friday in the Carlyle Nursing Home after an extended illness, will be at 10am Tuesday in St Adalbert’s Catholic Church.  Rev. Eugene Kazmierczak, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery

Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today and 2 to 9pm Monday in the St Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30pm Monday.

Born on June 15, 1893, in Terre Coupee, she lived in this area al her life.  On June 15, 1915, in Terre Coupee, as Anna J. Piechorowski, she married Julius Balcerzak, who survives.  Also surviving are tow daughters, Mrs. Alice Zimmerman of Louisville KY and Mrs. Irene Henderson of South Bend; a son, Stanley of South Bend; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a brother, Julius Piechorowski of South Bend.  Mrs Balcerzak was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society of St Adalbert’s Church.
