Esther M. Bajdek

January 31, 1919 – September 11, 1982

Mrs. Esther M. Bajdek, 63, of 1838 N Huey St., died unexpectedly at 7pm Saturday in Denver CO, while she was visiting her son.  She was employed at the University of Notre Dame for 10 years.

She was born on January 31, 1919, in South Bend and was a lifetime area resident.  On August 6, 1943, in South Bend, she married Benedict S. Bajdek, who died December 22, 1981.  She is survived by five sons, Patrick of Denver, Michael of Grand Rapids MI and Thomas, John and James, all of South Bend; eight grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Valerie Wagner of South Bend; and a brother, Bert Krzyzaniak Jr of South Bend.

Services will be at 11am Thursday in St Stanislaus Catholic Church, with Rev. Casimir Grabarz, CSC, officiating.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.
