Services were to be held today in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home for Mrs. Eva Bailie, 86, formerly of 709 W Washington Ave.  Mrs. Bailie died at 2:30pm Wednesday in the Wilton Rest Home.

Rabbi Maurice Parzen of Sinai Synagogue was to officiate with burial in Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery.

She was born in Russia on August 15, 1877, and came to South Bend in 1903 from Russia.  Her husband, Barney Bailie, died in 1960.  She is survived by four sons, Maurice, Dr. Harry and Louis, all of South Bend, and Reuben of Lansing IL; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
