Paul C. Bailey, 86, of South Bend, died on Sunday Oct. 23, in Dujarie House after an illness. He was a clinical psychologist and formerly associated with Notre Dame.

In 1969 he married Elizabeth Reinecke, who preceded him in death. His brother, Cornell Bailey, also predeceased him. He is survived by two sisters, and a brother, Patricia Goddard of South Bend and Rose Marie Koors and John Bailey, both of Marion, Ind. His stepson, Peter K. Reinecke, also survives and lives with his family in Texas. Mr. Bailey has donated his body to science.

A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26 in the Dujarie House Chapel on the campus of Holy Cross College. A wake service will be at 11:15 p.m. in the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, Ind., and to Hope Rescue Mission, South Bend. McGann Funeral Homes are handling arrangements.
