SOUTH BEND - Jefferson Bailey, 56, died Sunday in Memorial Hospital. He was a counselor at Family and Children's Center, a vendor at the Farmers Market, and enjoyed working in his flower gardens. He is survived by stepdaughter, Greta Lee of South Bend, four grandchildren, a sister and a brother. His wife, Alice Bailey, died in 2004. Memorial services will be at 1:30 PM Thursday in Little Flower Catholic Church.
