MISHAWAKA - Vartouhie "Rose" S. Baghboudarian, 85, formerly of 100 Center High Rise, passed away at 11:05 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Golden Living Center, Mishawaka. She was a homemaker and seamstress. She was born on September 4, 1922, in Jerusalem, Israel to Setrak and Serpouhie (Hairabedian). In 1944 in Jerusalem she married Khatchig Baghboudarian who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Hrayr and Charlene Babadarian of Mishawaka; grandson, Steven Babadarian of Mishawaka; one brother, Bedros "Peter" (Lucine) Kevorkian of Glendale, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend where friends may visit with the family from 2:00 p.m. until time of services. Father Robert Bower of St. Nectarios Othodox Church will officiate. Inurnment will take place at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
