LUCILLE M. BAELE

January 6, 1923 – February 26, 1987

Lucille M. Baele, 64, of 1355 E. Huffman Drive, died at 8:45pm Thursday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Baele was a registered nurse and was employed by the University of Notre Dame Health Center.

She was born January 6, 1923, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. On August 30, 1947, in South Bend, she married Henry D. Baele. He survives along with two daughters, Peggy Aronson of South Bend and Patricia Walkup of Emmaus PA; a son, Dr. Henry R. of Dearborn Heights MI; four grandchildren; a sister, Thelma Dragovich of South Bend; a brother, William A. Mitchell of South Bend; and her mother, Margaret Giantomoso of South Bend.

Services will be at 9am Monday in St Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Sunday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be said at 7pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of St Joseph’s Medical Center.
