Miss Joan R. Badur
Miss Joan R. Badur, 50, of 2416 Prast Blvd. died early Sunday in the Imperial
House Hotel, Las Vegas, Nev., where she was vacationing after suffering an
apparent heart attack. She was an employee of the Bendix Corp. for 25 years.
Born on April 3, 1930, in South Bend, she had lived here all her life. She is
survived by her mother, Mrs. May Goralski of South Bend; a sister Mrs. Phyllis
Csenar of South Bend, and two brothers, Eugene of Chicago and Richard A. of Wood,
Wis.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Rev
Casimir Grabarz, C.S.C., will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the
Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be recited at
7:30 p.m. Thursday. She was a member of the Bendix Local 9.
