Mary Theresa Badora, 76, of Ryer Street in South Bend died Wednesday, Aug. 7 at 7:20 p.m. in the St. Joseph Medical Center of natural causes. Mrs. Badora was born Jan. 30, 1920, in South Bend and was a lifelong resident.

She was married May 6, 1950, in South Bend, as Mary T. Marshall to Orville Badora, who died May 10, 1993. Mrs. Badora is survived by a daughter, Jeanne M. Cencelewski of Granger, Ind., a son, John J. Badora of Sugar Land, Texas; four grandchildren, Jason and Erica Cencelewski and Mark and Kristen Badora; and a sister, Dorothy DeBaets of South Bend.

Mass of the Christian burial will be held Saturday, Aug. 10 at noon in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call Friday, Aug. 9 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend. A vigil service will be held Friday at 4:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Mrs. Badora was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the rosary society of the church.
