Sister M. A. Regina CSC, 77, died this morning in St. Mary’s Convent after a months’ illness. She had taught at congregation schools in Utah, California, Washington DC, Pennsylvania and Virginia. She was born April 22, 1897 in Kensington, Md. as Carrie Ellen Austin, and entered the Holy Cross order Jan. 6, 1922.

Friends may call after noon Thursday at the convent. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Church of Loretto and burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, at St. Mary’s. A wake service will be at 7:15 p.m. Thursday in the church.
