Patrick F. (Milt) Augustine, of St. Louis Co. and
previously a long time resident of South Bend, IN, died on Sun.,
Oct. 19, 2003, at the age of 76, with close family members by his
side: dear father of Michael (Laura), Timothy, Mary Jo (Bruce) Waggoner,
Catherine, Patricia, and the late Vincent Patrick: dear
grandfather to 7 grandchildren: youngest brother to 11 siblings
and preceded in death by sisters Katherine Neisan and
Jeanette Haughey, and brothers, Nick, Sam, and Tom; and
survived by brothers Dolf (Gwen) and John (Madeline) and sisters,
Mary Kellam, Frances Gillespie, Josephine, and
Theresa (John) Harmon.; preceded in death by his very
beloved parents, Vincent and Rose (nee Simeri); a member
of several extended families and a dear friend to many in the St.
Louis, MO and South Bend areas.
Pat was an U.S. Army veteran 1945-47). He
was a long time member of the Benevolent Order of Elks of the
USA. (BPOE 2635 Affton Lodge in St. Louis County) He was a former
member of the Oil, Chemical & Atomic Workers International
Union and he retired from the Uniroyal Tire & Rubber Corp. in
1986.
Visitation on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003 from
3-9 p.m. at the KUTIS Funeral Home, located at 10151 Gravois Rd.
in Affton. Funeral service from Kutis on Wed. Oct. 22, 2003, 10
AM internment to follow immediately following at the Jefferson
Barracks National Cemetery, in South St. Louis Co. Donations to
the St. Patrick Center of St. Louis, MO or degreeff Hospice
Program appreciated.
Editor: He married Mary Anderson Apr. 28, 1951 in St. Joseph County IN. He was the son of Vincenzo Raffaele Agostino and Maria Rosa Prundente Simeri. He was born Oct. 27, 1927 in South Bend IN.
