MISHAWAKA - Shianna M. Aston, 6, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away in
the arms of her mother July 8, 2009, at 5:35 A.M. in Elkhart
Hospice House from injuries sustained after being struck by a car
on May 7, 2009. She was born on September 17, 2002, in South
Bend, IN, to Shelly Aston. She survives along with four aunts,
Linda Peffley, Betty Austin and Gwen Lower, all of Elkhart, and
Diane (William) Riordan of Montgomery, Illinois; and an uncle,
Ken (Debbie) Lower of Aurora, Illinois. She was preceded in death
by her sister, Shayla M. Aston, who died May 8, 2009, and her
grandmother, Lucille Aston, who died May 2, 2009. Visitation will
be held from 9-11 A.M. Monday in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 616
Lincoln Way East, Mishawaka, with the memorial service at 11 A.M.
Reverend Susan Haynes of St. Paul's will officiate. Shianna loved
Velveeta Shells and Cheese, Sponge Bob, playing on the computer
and drawing. She received her diploma from kindergarten from
Emmons Elementary in Mishawaka. She was a wonderful daughter and
the best big sister you could ever want in the world. She was
very sensitive and caring and touched the lives of everyone
around her. Mommy will miss you forever and always. Memorial
contributions may be made to the family in care of St. Paul's
Episcopal Church, 616 Lincoln Way East, Mishawaka, IN 46544. An
