Margaret K. Asper, 74, of Indiana 331, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 11:12 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 5, in St. Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka, Ind.
She was born on June 14, 1925, in Mishawaka, to the late Frank and Anna Kedik. Margaret was also preceded in death by two sons, Richard in 1971 and Ronald in 1993; three sisters, Mary DeMeyer, Helen Czjkowski and Dorothy Stanley; and by a brother, Frank Kedik.
On Feb. 8, 1946, in Mishawaka, Margaret married Ivan R. Asper, who survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Linda DeWulf of Mishawaka; two sons, Roy Asper of Elkhart, Ind., and Randy Asper of South Bend; three grandchildren, April DeWulf of Mishawaka, and Jake and Melanie Asper, both of South Bend; a sister, Annie Holland of Mishawaka; and by three brothers, John Kedik of South Bend, and George and Mike Kedik, both of Mishawaka.
Margaret retired in 1989 after 18 years of service with Industrial Packing of South Bend.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, Mishawaka.
Services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, in the funeral home, with Fr. Derrick Sneyd officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
