13, 1969 - May 25, 2010SOUTH BEND - Deborah Ann (Ritchie) Ashcroft, 40, of South Bend, went home to be with our Lord at 2:48 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. She was surrounded by her mother, Dixie. sister, Amy. and family and friends as she peacefully left this life to begin her new one in Heaven. Deborah was born November 13, 1969, to Dixie Lee Rose and Leslie Ritchie. She is survived by her beautiful daughter, Kaylee Ashcroft; her mother, Dixie Rose; her sister, Amy Rose; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Deborah was preceded in death by her grandparents, Viola Hall and David Hall; her father, Leslie Ritchie; Aunt Loretta, Aunt June, Aunt Lois, Uncle Tommy, Uncle Mike, Uncle Bob; cousins, Frank Sr., Vic, Carmen and Bootsie Jr. Deborah loved her daughter very much. She also loved University of Michigan football. She came from a big family and always enjoyed family gatherings. She loved the sun and outdoors. Family and friends may come together in celebrating Deborah's life with visitation from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2010, in Thallemer, Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 West 3rd Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home, Rev. Erv Mize officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Contributions in Deborah's memory may be made to the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care. Envelopes are available in the funeral home.
