Jack E. Arnold, 70, of Indiana 933,
South Bend, Ind., died following a short illness at 9:25 a.m. on
Thursday, Dec. 27, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Mr.
Arnold was born on Nov. 24, 1930, in South Bend to the late
Lester and Sena (Jorritsma) Arnold and lived in Three
Oaks, Mich., South Bend area his entire life.
On Feb. 25, 1965, in Mango, Fla., he married
Beverly McDaniel who survives. Also surviving are three
daughters, Sandra (James) Fulton and Martine
"Pookie" Arnold, both of South Bend and Shari
"Bear" (Cory) Winkelman of South Riding, Va.;
two sons, Randy (Dorene) Arnold of South Bend and Terry Arnold of
New Carlisle, Ind.; four grandchildren, Jessica and Kim Fulton
and Steve and John Arnold; and by four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Arnold was well known as the owner of
Jack's Trailer Sales and Rental in South Bend. Jack was a member
of Community Congregational Church and the American Motorcycle
Association. He was an avid motorcyclist and loved any kind of
motorcycle or auto racing. At the time of his death all of his
family was with him and he was surrounded with their love.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m.
today, Dec. 30, in Community Congregational Church, 19671
Cleveland Road, with Rev. Paul Blend officiating, and friends may
call one hour prior to services. Burial will take place on
Tuesday, Jan. 2, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Three Oaks. Memorial
