SOUTH BEND - Services for A. David Arndt, 54, of South Kentucky Street, who died Friday in a fire at his home, will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Monday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Mr. Arndt was employed by Society Bank in the Cash Management Department.

He was born July 17, 1939, in Mishawaka, and returned to this area six years ago from New Orleans. He is survived by a son, Mark Allan, address unknown; two sisters, Nancy Maronek of Martin, Mich., and Eldeen Buckland of South Bend; and a brother, Dale Eugene Arndt of Granger. He was a member of American Association of Retired Persons.
