Services for Sister M. Juanita CSC,
90, os St. Mary’s Convent who died there Sunday afternoon,
will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Loretto Church with
burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery on the campus. Friends may
call today and until services in the convent parlors, where a
wake service will be at 7 p.m. today.
She was born Juana Armendariz May 2. 1898 in Saucillo, Cchihuahua, Mexico, an entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross Feb. 7, 1928 coming from Mexico. She was received as a novice Aug. 15, 1928 and professed her vows Aug. 15, 1930. She served as a nurses aide at Holy Cross Sanitprium in Deming, N.M.
