Ella "Ellie" Andrzejewski,
91, of Fountainview Place, formerly of Cowles Avenue, passed away
at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2005, in Fountainview Place.
Ella was employed by Studebaker and Ball Band. She was a member
of the Studebaker Retirees Club, Golden Cluster, the civic clubs
of St. Hedwig, Hoosier Grandmothers Club, American Legion 357
Ladies Auxiliary, Chippewa Fun Club, SAGE, Over 50 Club of Terre
Coupe, and was a 25-year volunteer of REAL Services.
Ellie was born on September 12, 1914, in
South Bend, to Frank and Eva (Bubelenyi) Graczol.
On September 3, 1938, as Ella Graczol,
she married Dominic Andrzejewski. He died on April 14, 1975. She
was also preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Madaras,
and a brother, Richard R. Gratzol. Surviving are a daughter,
Patricia (Edward) Cseresznyak of South Bend; four grandchildren,
Edward Cseresznyak, Linda (Gregory) Buchanan, Cynthia Schneider
and Alan Cseresznyak; 11 great-grandchildren, Kathi Cseresznyak,
Nick Buchanan, Christina Buchanan-Dickmeyer, Jeff
Buchanan, Ryan Voll, Kristen Voll, Lauren Voll, Eric
Cseresznyak, Evan Cseresznyak, Tess Cseresznyak and Tara
Cseresznyak.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m.
Saturday, December 31, 2005, in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S.
Kemble Avenue. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Family
and friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the
funeral home, where a Rosary will be recited at 3:00 p.m.
