Catherine Andrzejewski

November 2, 1905 – October 29, 1984

Catherine Andrzejewski, 78, of 1208 S Main St., died about 12:01am today in her home after an illness.  She was a housekeeper at the St Joseph’s Catholic Church rectory for 25 years, retiring in 1977.

Mrs. Andrzejewski was born on November 3, 1905, in Pittsburgh and moved here in 1932.  As Catherine Przybylinski , she married Edward J. Andrzejewski on September 28, 1926, in South Bend.  He survives with three sons, Donald J. and Richard E. Andrzejewski of South Bend, and Edward J. Andrzejewski, Jr of Mishawaka; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Fisher of Niles; and a brother, Theodore Przybylinski of Niles.  A granddaughter, Judith Lynne Andrzejewski died in 1979.

Services will be at 10am Wednesday in St Joseph’s Catholic Church.  Burial will be at the St Joseph Valley Memorial Park. 

Friends may call form 7 to 9pm today and form 1 to 9pm Tuesday at the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, where a wake service is planned at 6:30pm Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St Joseph’s Church Development Fund.  She was a member of the Rosary Society in her church, the Harvest House and the Kosciusko Club Auxiliary.
