Frank William Andrysiak, 73, of Village Way, South Bend, Ind., died early on Sunday, Feb. 22, in his home.
Mr. Andrysiak was born on Oct. 12, 1924, in South Bend, to Frank Casimer and Mary (Blaszak) Andrysiak. He was a lifelong resident and retired in 1983 from White Farm Equipment.
On Aug. 5, 1950, in South Bend, he married the former Rose Ann Benko, who survives.
He is also survived by a daughter, Kathleen M. Star of South Bend; two sons, Kenneth J. and Michael Andrysiak, both of South Bend; two grandchildren, Leslie M. Star and Matthew D. Andrysiak; and by two sisters, Genevieve Kowalski and Virginia Strozewski, both of South Bend.
Mr. Andrysiak was preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor Pease and Dorothy Kitkowski; and by three brothers, Alfred T., Walter L. and Richard S. Andrysiak.
Mr. Andrysiak was a member of Holy Family Church, was a World War II Army veteran, and had graduated in 1946 from the former Indiana College of Mortuary Science in Indianapolis.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home Chapel, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, with entombment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today in the Kaniewski Funeral Home.
