NEW CARLISLE - Patricia Sally Andrews, 61, of 700 East in New Carlisle, Ind., passed away at 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 19, in her residence. Mrs. Andrews was employed as an executive secretary for more than 20 years for Her Majesty's Government, England. She was born to Arthur and Anne (Dickens) Moore on May 15, 1937, in Hammersmith, England. She had lived in New Carlisle for six years, coming from England.
On Jan. 31, 1976, as Patricia Sally Atcheler, she married Christopher Andrews in London, England. He survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Julie Coleman of New Carlisle; three grandchildren, Mary Jane Coleman, Neil Steven Coleman and Mandy Leanne Coleman; four sisters, Marlene Spruce, Jacqui Atcheler and Penny Dark, all of England, and Elaine Atcheler of Australia; and by a brother, Phillip Atcheler of Australia. Mrs. Andrews enjoyed the game of golf and was an avid golfer.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert Street, New Carlisle, with Chaplain Sam Oliver officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637-3437.
