SOUTH BEND — Madeline E. Andert, 13, of South Main Street, died Thursday in Memorial Hospital after a go-kart accident June 6.

Survivors include her parents, Loreen and William J. Andert; a sister, Olivia Andert at home; and a brother, Erik Andert at home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Zahoran Funeral Home, where friends may call one hour before services.

Madeline Elizabeth Andert, 13, of S. Main Street passed away at 12 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2002 in Memorial Hospital. Madeline had just completed the 7th grade at Jackson Middle School. She was born on October 9, 1988 in Jackson, Mississippi to William J. and Loreen Andert who survive along with a sister Olivia and a brother Erik who both reside with their parents; and a paternal grandfather William F. Andert of South Bend.

Madeline was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Jacquelyn Andert and her maternal grandparents Frank J. and Veronica Carubba.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 Saturday, June 15, 2002 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue, where friends may call 1 hour prior to services. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the Riley Children's Hospital.
