SOUTH BEND - Marjorie L. Anderson,
85, of Rue Flambeau, died of natural causes at 5 p.m. Tuesday in
her home. Miss Anderson retired in 1975 from Western Union and
was employed by the Army in the communications department during
World War II. She was born March 3, 1909, in Delong, and was a
lifelong area resident. She is survived by two nephews, Bill Horvath
and Rick Horvath, both of South Bend. She was a member of
Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and a bronze leader of the
Commanders Club.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Forest
G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive. Entombment will be in
St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 6
to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may
be made to Hope Rescue Mission.
