David Anderson

SOUTH BEND – David Anderson, aged 60, of 301 East Ewing Avenue, died at 10:25 p.m. in Memorial (Epworth) Hospital after an illness of 11 months. Born in Forshage, Sweeden, May 11, 1895, he came here 43 years ago from Chicago.

On July 5, 1913, in South Bend, he married Miss Bessie E. Gustafson, who survives. Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Pletcher and Miss Betty Anderson, and four sons, Stanley Fred, Payl and Wayne, all of South Bend; a brother, Paul of Sweden and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Bergstrom and Mrs. Judith Anderson, both of Sweden.

Friends may call in the Hay funeral home after noon Saturday and until funeral services there at 2 p.m. Monday. Rev. C. C. Pearce, pastor of the Stull Memorial Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
