Sara Goldberg Altman, 88, passed on Thursday, Jan. 10, in Deerfield, Ill., where she had lived the past three years. Prior to relocating to Illinois,

Mrs. Altman was a lifelong resident of South Bend, Ind. She was the dear wife of the late Martin C. Altman; the cherished mother of Carin Solloway of South Bend, Richard Altman of Tempe, Ariz., and Cathy Rodrigues of Lincolnshire, Ill.; and the beloved grandmother of four. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, in Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery Chapel, Mishawaka, Ind. Arrangements are through the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to your favorite charity.
