Effie Mae Allemang

1882 – February 4, 1981

Service for Mrs. Effie Mae Allemang, 98, formerly of 623 N Scott, who died early Wednesday while visiting her son in Dayton OH, will be at 1pm Saturday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William.  Rev. Charles Reed, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.  Friends may call from 7 to 9pm Friday in the funeral home.

On August 29, 1900, as Effie Mae Fishburn, she married George W. Allemang, who died in 1957. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a past worthy matron of Chapter 2 of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a past worthy high priestess of Messiah Shrine 10, White Shrine of Jerusalem
