Fred D. Alexander, 80, and Madonna P. Alexander, 79, both of 1903 Lincoln Way West, Mishawaka, Ind., and former Jay County residents, died Monday, Jan. 13, at their residence. They were married March 6, 1935. Mr. Alexander was born Dec. 28, 1916, in Jay County, the son of Charles and Jessie (Brumbaugh) Alexander. He was a printer having worked for Metal Building Review Publishing in Edwardsburg, Mich. He was a member of the Forrest Lodge 239, F.& A.M., in Butler, Ind., Scottish Rite in South Bend, Grange 2109 in Hamilton, Ind., and White Shrine 25 in Kendallville, Ind.

 

They are survived by two sons, Alan Alexander of Angola, Ind., and Thomas Alexander of Granger, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. Steve (Sonya) Cameron of Defiance, Ohio, Mrs. Tony (Lynn) Kaiser and Mrs. Philip (Ann) Vose, both of Butler; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bob Davis of Portland, Ind.

 

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland, with Rev. Ivan Steed presiding. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Ft. Recovery, Ohio. Memorial services will also be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, in the Albright United Methodist Church, Mishawaka. Memorials may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
