SOUTH BEND - Angela Rene Akins, 32, of 1208 W. Washington St., died of natural causes at 7:35 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Miss Akins was employed by Fountainview Place, Mishawaka. She was born Dec. 9, 1961, in Elkhart and was a lifelong area resident. She is survived by a daughter, Charee Akins of South Bend; her parents, Georgia Akins of South Bend and Robert Akins of California; a sister, Wendy Barnette of South Bend; and a brother, Derwin Akins of South Bend.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today in Alford's Mortuary. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart Disease Research Foundation
