Betty Adelsperger

MISHAWAKA - Betty Adelsperger, 72, of Petro Drive, died at 1 a.m. Wednesday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Adelsperger was a title clerk for Mishawaka Auto Auction for 11 years. She was born Nov. 15, 1921, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. On Feb. 15, 1957, in South Bend, as Betty Abbott, she married William F. Adelsperger. He survives, with four daughters, Carol Daugherty, Kelly Adelsperger and Kathy Adelsperger, all of South Bend, and Kerry Stephens of New Carlisle; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.

Private services and burial will be held Saturday in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
