SOUTH BEND - Dorothy C. Addis, 71, of Toulon, Ill., formerly of South Bend, died at 7:05 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Home in Lacon, Ill., of natural causes.

Mrs. Addis was born Dec. 22, 1923, in South Bend.

On Sept. 27, 1947, in South Bend, as Dorothy C. Rozniarek, she married Dale Addis. He died April 24, 1994. Surviving are three daughters, Mary Addis of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Jane Aitken of White Bear Lake, Minn., and Ann Pantoga of Evanston, Ill.; a son, Mark of St. Louis; and six grandchildren. She was a 1946 graduate of Saint Mary's College.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Dominic's Catholic Church, Wyoming, Ill. Burial will be in West Jersey (Ill.) Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Debolt-Kidd Funeral Home, Toulon. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Catholic Church of Toulon or the University of Minnesota Ataxia Clinic.
