SOUTH BEND - Edward Stacey Adams, 72, of 1322 East Dubail Avenue, died this morning at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hartzell, of the same address, where he had roomed. He was ill two years and died as result of a stroke suffered March 29. He was born here Jan. 8, 1869 and live his entire life in South Bend. A daughter, Mrs. Leo Schneck of Granger, this county survives. He leaves also a grandson and two sisters, Mrs. Nora Curee of South Bend, and Mrs. Wetta Kitson of Newcastle, Pa.

Friends will be received tonight in the Forest G. Hay funeral home. The funeral will be there at 1 p.m. Sunday with burial in Sumption Prairie Cemetery.
