SOUTH BEND - Pearl Abrams, 95, of St.
Paul's Retirement Community, South Bend, Ind., died at 12:20 p.m.
on Thursday, Nov. 6, in St. Paul's. Mrs. Abrams was born in
Chicago, Ill., on Aug. 20, 1902, and had lived in South Bend for
over 30 years, coming from Chicago.
As Pearl Ginsberg, she married
Benjamin Abrams on July 3, 1929, in Chicago. Benjamin preceded
her in death on Jan. 9, 1992. She is survived by two daughters,
Muriel E. ''Cookie'' Katz of South Bend and Lois Wald
of South Bend; five grandchildren, Babette, Paula, Sheila, Lisa
and Gary; and by eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Abrams was a
member of the Sinai Synagogue.
Graveside services will be in the Waldheim
Cemetery, Chicago, Ill. Memorial contributions may be made to the
Sinai Synagogue Fund for the Future.
