Elizabeth E. Abbott, 86, of Fulmer
Road, Mishawaka, Ind., died on Sunday, Feb. 25, in her residence.
Elizabeth was born in Gary, Ind., on July 24, 1914, and had lived
in this area most of her life.
She married Harry F. Abbott in Burington,
Ind., on Nov. 23, 1939. He died on Aug. 25, 1973. She was also
preceded in death by her parents, John and Julia (Martin) Elek;
three sisters, Anna Lochmondy, Mary Resnick and
Julia Lee; a brother, Stephen Elek; and by a daughter.
Mrs. Abbott is survived by her daughter, Marsha Wroblewski
of El Cajon, Calif.; three grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren; two nephews, Charles Lee and Stephen Elek
Jr.; and by several other nieces and nephews. She was formerly
employed at Wyman's as a model and sales clerk, belonged to St.
Matthew's Golf League for twenty-five years and the Elk's bowling
league, and was a lifetime member of the V.F.W.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. on
Wednesday, Feb. 28, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N.
Main Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m.,
with Fr. Terry Fisher officiating. Burial will be at a later date
in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind. Memorial
contributions may be made to a Catholic church of the donor's
choice.
