He visited the cemetery in the mid-1990s and the white stone on row 18, plot #6 was still easily readable then. There was also another stone there for her husband, David Grise (1820-1874) for plot #4. The stone had broken off and was leaning against Martha's at the time. It apparently has disappeared since then.
