Town and Local News - The
last few weeks have been remarkable for the number of deaths in
our village, mostly persons of advanced years. Mrs. Elizabeth
Miller,
age 91 years; Rachel Rowley, 76 years; David Jordon, 89 years; C. F.
Kinney 40 years and an infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
Moffet. Our
town is generally considered a healthy place, but the great Destroyer
has been unusually active in our midst for a short time.
