HAMILTON - Donna Ruth Walter, 69, died Sunday
morning in DeKalb
Memorial Hospital, Auburn.
She lived on South Brookside in Hamilton. She was a member of
the Hamilton
United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, the church
choir and the
Steuben County Extension Club.
She was born Nov. 6, 1925 in Antwerp, Ohio, to the late Millard
and Ruth
(Taylor) Jones.
She married Frank Walter on March 24, 1950, in Butler, and he
survives.
Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Judy
Humes of
Hamilton, and Colin and Linda Walter of Butler; two daughters
and sons-in-law,
Dawn and Thomas Shank of Hamilton, and Cheryl and Don Warner of
Angola; 12
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Paula Boerger, and one
great-granddaughter, Ryanne Pool.
Services were today at 10:30 a.m. in Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home -
Hamilton
Chapel, Hamilton, with Pastor John R. Cowan officiating. Burial
was in the
Hamilton Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Steuben County Cancer
Society.
