ALBERT W. STAYNER from Herald Republican, Saturday, Aug. 1, 1998, pg 4, col 2 Albert W. Stayner (Feb. 25, 1914-July 29, 1998 Albert W. Stayner, 84, of Angola, died Wednesday at home. He was born Feb. 25, 1914, in Steuben County to Edward and Louisa (Hastings) Stayner. Mr. Stayner was a retired farmer, and he retired from Simpson Industry after 15 years. He is survived by his wife, Dessie, a son, Nathan of Angola; two daughters, Judith Heinrich of Wading River, N.Y., and Carol Loynes of Fremont; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Charles of Angola and Laurence of Butler. Preceding him in death were two brothers and two sisters. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, with graveside services following in Jackson Prairie Cemetery, Steuben County. ADDITIONAL NOTES: Albert Wilford Stayner was the son of Edward Jacob Stayner (08 Apr 1866-07 Apr 1944) who married Louisa Hastings on 06 Jun 1901. She was born 10 Aug 1881 and died 16 Jun 1942. She is also buried at Jackson Prairie Cemetery, Orland, Steuben County, Indiana. Brother, Jesse Stayner, was born 01 Jan 1903 and died in 1931. Brother, Lewis Earl Stayner, was born 18 Sep 1910 and died in 1975. Sister, Hazel Inez (Stayner) Hawkins, was born 25 Apr 1905 and died in 1937.
