Howe,
Sept. 8 –
Glenn Robert Stanner, 26, Shipshewana High School teacher died
at 1:30 pm today
at the Irene Byron Sanatorium near Fort Wayne, where he had been
a patient nine
days. He was a graduate of Lima School here and Hanover College.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Helen Boggess Stanner; one
daughter, Mary Carol;
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Stanner of near Howe; three
sisters, Mrs.
Ruby Cameron of Mt. Vernon, Ill., Mrs. Vera Kramer of White
Pigeon, Mich., and
Gladys Stanner of Fort Wayne and three brothers, Wendell, Wilbur
and Donald
Stanner of Howe.
The body was brought to the Shoup Funeral Home here. Funeral
services will be
held Tuesday at 3 pm (CDT) at the Presbyterian Church here with
Rev. W. G.
Pitkin officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
