John F. Schultz, son of Frank and
Agnes Schultz, was born in Bay City, Mich. and died in Angola,
Ind. Sunday, Dec. 2, 1934, at the age of 44 years. His parents
were natives of Poland but came to the United States, where
their children were born and where they both died. John was one
of six children, five brothers and one sister. The following
survive: Andrew of Bay City, Mich.; Joseph of Fort Wayne; and
Mrs. [Constance] Wisniewski of Bay City, Mich. He was married on
Mother's Day, May 1, 1928, to Mrs. Pearl Weldon Bowers. He died
by accident on East Maumee Street, Angola, late Saturday night,
being struck by a truck and an automobile. He passed away in the
Cameron Hospital, Angola, about noon on Sunday. He leaves
besides his brothers and sister, his wife Pearl, four
step-children, three sons-in-law, and one grandchild. John dealt
in an amiable, good-natured and pleasing way with the customers
of his ice business, he was a veteran of the world war, and it
is with deepest regret that we record his passing. We trust that
the providence of God may yet deal kindly and graciously with
those so tragically and sadly bereft.
