Mrs. Hiram Saxton
Died in Church - At a protracted meeting on Bushy Prairie in
LaGrange County on the evening of the 24th ult. as the congregation was assembling,
Mrs. Hiram Saxton, residing a little east of Ontario, came into the house
and went up to the stove to warm. The minister shook hands with her,
and to his inquiry she answered she was well. She soon turned around
and fell to the floor. Water and camphor were used freely to restore
her, but without vail, as she breathed but a few times more.
